I had the pleasure of welcoming Firdaus Kharas into the studio last week as he was picking up a commission I had been working on for him. Firdaus is a social entrepreneur and media producer who has been working towards bettering the human condition through video and animation. He holds both a UN Peace Medal and a Peabody Award among his awards of recognition and it was wonderful to meet him and discuss both his work and mine in person. Both he and his wife Jasmine were charming and I was delighted to get the opportunity. I believe the piece I had made for him will be hanging in good company too which is always both exciting and humbling to hear!
